As we say goodby to summer, we are heading into flu and cold season again. This addresses Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) effects on babies. The broader reality is that RSV can also infect and impact adults and children of any age, especially if they have weakened immune systems. We may not know what new viruses we may see this season, but we do know how best to protect ourselves and those around us from the ones we’ve seen in the past. For those unfamiliar with RSV, knowledge is the first step in dealing with it.
